Lama Ngawang was born in 1983. At the age of thirteen he entered the Benchen monastery. Until twenty years of age he has been receiving comprehensive teachings, which include Buddhist theories, as well as practices. At the age of twenty under the guidance H. E. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche and Ven. Tenga Rinpoche he begun a three-year meditation retreat in the Benchen Drubde Ysal Ling centre.
Appreciating his education and very good results of meditation, both of the Rinpoches asked Lama Ngawang to become the lama-resident of the "Benchen Phuntsok Ling" in Allmuthen, the main Benchen centre in Europe.
Lama regularly visits also other Buddhist centres and helps many people in reaching a deeper understanding of the Buddha Teachings.
