You did not book your meals or did not pay before a deadline

- Your meals are not guaranteed, but you can stand at the end of a queue - you will be fed if there is anything left, but the price of your meal will be higher.

You paid for your meals but did not book them by means of application form or by telephone
- It may happen that you will receive different meals that you wanted.

You booked and paid your meals, but have changed your mind

- You can assign the payment you made for some other purpose (membership fees, next courses, etc.) if you inform the office about you decision at least three days before the course begins.
- In future, please think over your booking. Do you really want to have breakfast at 8.00 a.m., if the course starts at 10.00 a.m.? Do you want to stay for supper at 6.00 p.m., if the course ends at 5.00 p.m.?

- Your payment will be treated as a general donation for the activities of the Association.
- If you want to pay money for particular purpose, short but clear information must be included on a bank receipt, for example: "Donation for the Dorje Sempa course - meals".
- You do not have to provide details concerning your meals on a bank receipt, as the detailed booking is made by e-mail or telephone.

You are a member of the Association and pay membership fees. You have the right to discount!

You want to take part in empowerment, but you have not taken the Refuge yet
- Taking the Refuge in Three Jewels is the first step on the Buddhist path and a prerequisite condition to receive any abhishekas (Vajrayana initiations) and vows.
- If you think seriously about Buddhist practice, ask an authorised lama to perform the ceremony of the Refuge for you.
- The easiest solution is to call in this matter to the office (telephone +48 22 211 37 51 between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. (break between 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m.) every day, except for Mondays).

What should you bring with you?
- A receipt proving you have made a pre-payment into the bank account.
- A sleeping bag, texts to practice, notebooks, pens.
- In winter it is advisable to have a pair of slippers, in summer - an electric torch.

Will anyone pick you up from the station?

- Yes, if you call the office early enough and inform us when you are expected.
- Maybe, if you call us from the station in Jaktorów; we cannot guarantee that there is a car and a driver available at that moment.
- No, if you take a train that arrives during the session. In such a case you can take a cab.

Have you reached the Centre?

- Go straightaway to the office. You will receive there an entrance card for a course, a coupon for your meals and information about accommodation.

What are you expected to do and do not during the course?
- We hope that you will get involved in everyday houseworks.
- We expect that you will remember about the purpose of the Centre and behave appropriately.
Especially we do remind you that:
- there is a curfew between 11.00 p.m. and 6.30 a.m. in the whole area of the Centre;
- smoking cigarettes is allowed only in a special area ;
- it is strictly forbidden to drink alcohol (also beer) and taking/possessing drugs; people under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be taken away from the area of the Centre and will not be given back the money they paid for the course.

You would like to light a candle or incense in the shrine

- Learn who is in charge of the altar.
- Ask that person where you can place a candle, incense or flowers, to avoid disturbing the rituals or destroying anything.

You would like to record or write down the lectures

- You can do it, but only for personal usage.
- Any form of multiplication or publication (also in the Internet) is allowed only if the lama who led the course agrees on it.

You would like make an offering to Rinpoche

- Please, do not bring photos, pictures, pottery, tapes with music etc. - luggage that Rinpoche travels with is heavy enough.
- Sweets and candies are not a good idea too - Tibetans usually do not like them, not to mention that some of our Rinpoches suffer from diabetes.
- Financial offering is the best one - Rinpoche will use it for maintenance of his monastery.
- Traditionally we offer gifts displayed on a kathak , a special white scarf.
