Lama Yonten Palzang entered the Benchen Monastery in Kathmandu as a teenager. He studied Dharma taught by Venerable Tenga Rinpoche and H.E. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche for almost ten years. Under their guidance he completed traditional three-year retreat in the retreat centre of the Benchen Monastery in Parping. Appreciating his broad education and deep experience in meditation, the Rinpoches appointed him a lama-resident of the Benchen Phuntsok Ling Centre in Allmuthen, Belgium, the European seat of Venerable Tenga Rinpoche and H.E. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche. Lama Yonten is a humble and candid person, able to present even most difficult teachings in a plain and clear way.
