In January 2017, H.E. Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche with Benchen monks made an historical pilgrimage to Maratika (Halesi), the Cave of Guru Rinpoche and Mandarava located in Khotang District in Nepal.
Maratika cave is the sacred place where Guru Padmasambhava and Princess Mandarava accomplished the state of immortal awareness (Chimey Rigzin).
