Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche and Yangsi Tenga Rinpoche
His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje composed a long life prayer for Yangsi Tenga Rinpoche in the auspicious month of Saga Dawa (the month when Buddha was born, attained Enlightenment, and passed into Paranirvana). The Tibetan text with English transcription and translation is already available (pdf file - version published by Benchen Monastery).
His Eminence Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche suggested that the prayer should be distributed to everyone as soon as possible, so that it can be recited regularly in Benchen Monastery in Kathmandu as well as in all Benchen centres worldwide, starting on the biggest Buddhist festival – Saga Dawa Duchen. Also, in the Grabnik Centre, we will be more than happy to start the recitation in this auspicious time.
