To feed the hungry! Such an idea arose after hours of discussions, concerning what positive actions we could undertake to benefit other beings.
Our inspirations come from Buddha’s teachings and our buddhist teachers’ activities, which show us how to practice compassion, generosity, patience…
We shared our first 8 portions of vegan hot meal at Wileńska Railway Station in 2011.
Now, thanks to help of our donators, we manage to cook approximately 100 portions each week. Because our activities address the poorest ones, sometimes we announce special actions like "the sock" or "the cleanness", during which we collect money for cleaning supplies, underwear or socks.
We are supported by our friends and acquaintances, who bake cakes, prepare sandwiches, cook soups, or just help us distribute meals.
We are a part of Benchen Karma Kamtsang Buddhist Association. Our name came from His Eminence Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche, who assigned it in December 2012. Go Jung Norbu (in short "Norbu") in free translation means Wishes Fulfilling Treasury/Jewel.
Our activity can be supported by financial donations to the bank account of the Buddhist Association, with the note "Norbu".
