PROGRAMME REGISTRATION SUGGESTED DONATIONS FOODGUIDE FOR PARTICIPANTS

PROGRAMME

This year's summer seminar will be led by Khenpo Karma Yonten Gyatso from Benchen Monastery.

Studing: "Highest Continuity" (Tib.: Gyu Lama)

Khenpo Karma Yonten Gyatso is one of the Khenpos of the Benchen Nangten Thösam Ling Shedra in Pharping, Nepal.
In 1997, at the age of 11, Khenpo Karma Yonten Gyatso became one of the Benchen monks in the Benchen Phuntsok Dargyeling Monastery in Kathmandu, studying all the various rituals. He received the full monk vows from the late Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche in 2005.
In 2007 he joined the Benchen Shedra in Pharping and began his studies in Buddhist philosophy. After studying intensively for more than 10 years, he graduated in 2018 and became Khenpo and since then has been teaching in the Shedra.
Khenpo Karma Yonten Gyatso will teach text called „Highest Continuity” in Tibetan known as „Gyu Lama”, or Uttaratantrasastra in Sanskrit.
This text is one of the so-called „five treasures of Maitreya” and in the Kagyu tradition it is the necessary philosophical basis for practice of Mahamudra and all tantras.
Along with Khenpo will come: the main Vajra-master of the Benchen Monastery, Dorje Lobpyn Lama Karma Tsultrim Rabten, Umdze Senge and torma-master Lama Ang Pasang. Therefore, in addition to Khenpo’s lectures, we will have an excellent opportunity to practice Green Tara Puja, Mahakala Puja and Chenrezig puja daily.
